Dear Friends and Family,

I will soon celebrate my one year anniversary of fulfilling my dream – owning and operating the Admiral Peary Inn Bed & Breakfast.   Thank you for your support over the past year.

After a great winter season with LOTS of snow and a brisk spring with lots of rain, I am ready for summer.  The gardens are beautiful and full of color, the area farms are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables and the summer events are upon us and the river is flowing high.  During this time I have continued to make changes to the Inn and augment the already fabulous amenities.

The biggest change to the Inn is the completion of the last guest room.  The Admiral’s Quarters is done.   This room has been dedicated to Admiral Peary, his family and exploration of the North Pole.  I am heading to Eagle Island next week to see if the gift shop or museum has some photos for me to use in the room.

All seven guest rooms are now complete.  All common areas have been received a fresh coat of paint and some tweaking.  There are lots of places to chill and relax.  On a clear night you can see every star in the sky.

There are TONS of things to do in the area from hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, theme parks, museums, and theater.  I am including some popular local websites.  July 4th will be celebrated with area festivities and lots of fireworks.  July 13th is an air show at the Western Maine Airport.  (Yes, there is a airport around the corner from me).

FYI - September 21 is Bark in the Park in North Conway.  On Sunday September 22, I am having a dog party.  There will be treats, towels per dog, pools, bones, and some coupons and gifts from area pet supply places.  I am working on a JP for a pet blessing in the morning.  And of course there will be people treats also.  You do not have to be a guest at the Admiral Peary Inn Bed and Breakfast for your dog to be able to participate in the fun.  Bark in the Park
